Bone Marrow Histology
Myeloblast
- myeloblast appear similar to pro erythroblast.
- proliferate to generate promyelocytes.
- promyelocytes accumulate nonspecific granules.
- promyelocyte forms myelocyte.
- promyelocyte can divide, myelocyte cannot divide.
Myelocyte
- intermediate stage in the development of all three types of granulocytes.
- myelocyte accumulate specific granules and changes in nuclear shape (morphology).
- metamyelocytes have a C-shaped nucleus will form next the "Band cells".
