Uterine Arterial Vessels

Uterine Artery -> Arcuate Arteries -> Radial Arteries -> Spiral Arteries


Uterine Artery - form anterior division of the internal iliac artery

Arcuate Arteries - also called helicine arterioles.

Spiral Arteries - invading trophoblast remodel into highly dilated vessels. See also PMID 16490251
