Foundations - Introduction to Histology
This practical class is a general introduction to tissue structure.
- Do not expect to learn the names of all structures and components today.
- Always start at the lowest magnification to get an "overview" of histology structure.
- Identify the "orientation of the section (lumen/surface, deeper layers)
- Note that most body organs and tissues are a combination of the the basic tissues shown in this practical.
