Scanning electron micrograph of the Zona Pellucida of in vitro matured feline oocytes
The Zona Pellucida surface differed in morphology.
- in vitro matured oocytes showed a dense outer surface with few fenestrations.
- frozen-thawed immature oocytes fenestrations were conspicuously larger.
