Course Information

Important 2009 UNSW Course Dates

  • Sunday 15th March is the deadline to add courses.
  • Tuesday 31st March is the census date for dropping courses (students will pay for courses after this date).
  • Sunday 26th April is the last day to discontinue without failure (failure won't be recorded, but you will pay for the course).
  • Saturday 6th June to 11 June Study Period (T1 only).
  • Friday 12th June to 27 June Examinations (T1 only) - Examination dates are provisional and subject to change.

Textbook

Essential Cell Biology (2nd ed.)

Essential Cell Biology (2nd ed.) Alberts, etal. 2003, is recommended for this course and page references are given in lectures. This textbook is a simplified (shortened) version of Molecular Biology of the Cell, listed below.
